Biography

Eric is a senior quant researcher working at the intersection of blockchain and AI. Currently, he leads a quant R&D team focused on cutting edge algo-trading strategies in DeFi. Previously, he worked as a data scientist in various sectors from hedge funds to neuroscience, and has more than 16 years of experience in data analytics and machine learning. He has a broad technical background that ranges from finance and economics to neuroscience and psychology; the common thread– a passion for modeling complex systems. Simply, he is a “specialized generalist.” Eric holds a PhD in systems and computational neuroscience, a MS in applied neuroscience, and a BS in quantitative finance.
